Default Stats Questions, 33,000 hands at Party .5/1

Most stats are falling into the standard TAG ranges. At this point in my development, I have some questions about some of my stats that aren't as obvious.

--Blind Defense/Stealing Blinds--
Att. to steal: 18.28%
No flop%: 22.22
Fold%: 14.20
Ww/oSD%: 48.77
WSD%: 37.04
W$SD: 41.67

It occurs to me that I should at least be winning 50% at showdown when stealing blinds. Otherwise, I'm not sure what these numbers mean.

--Player Actions: Just Called--
Turn W$SD%: 42.13
River W$SD% 23.66

Calling on the end hasn't been too good for me, and calling on the turn has meant that I'm probably behind. All my other stats in this area for W$SD are above 50%.

--Check Raises--
Overall: 1.60%
Flop: 57.71%
Turn: 32.00%
River: 10.29%

I get the feeling that I haven't been check raising the river enough, but I'm not certain. If this seems to be the case when looking at the numbers, I'll dig up some hands and post them.

Lastly, is 33,000 enough hands to draw conclusions in these areas?

WSD%: 37.04
W$SD: 41.67

I think this is a problem for you, I just looked at my "overall" stats after roughlt 50k hands from .5/1 to 2/4 (cutting out everything else) and my average rates are
WSD% 30.47%
W$SD - 59.29%

Now I think that you certainly dont need it that high, but it should be higher.
You also left out some very important stats there
VP$IP
PFR
AF
BB/100

If you were to add those it would immensly

I think you're going to a showndown to much. 37% seems very high, which might account for your low won at showdown.

Ahem. I'm looking for some guidance on these stats from the [ QUOTE ]
--Blind Defense/Stealing Blinds--

[/ QUOTE ] section of the detail report.

My overall W$SD is over 50%, my overall WSD is under 35%, VPIP is 17%, Agg is 2.5+ across the board, PFR is over 8%. I know these stats are good. I'm looking for guidance on other sections, which I posted like so: [ QUOTE ]

Blind Defence is pretty irrelovent in party .50/1.

MAYBE in 1/2 it might be worth checking out, but why are you so concerned in this area?

I think the root of your problem is:

In my last 13k hands at 0.5/1, PT logged 10 blind defense hands: 3 from the SB, 7 from the BB. If I extrapolate to 30k hands, that's 30 blind def hands, way too small to draw any conclusions about their stats.

How many blind defense hands do you have, anyhow? With good table selection, things should rarely get folded to LP in a 0.5/1 game ...

Agree with ArturiusX. The showdown percentage is a little high and that in turn is lowering the percentage won.

About your check-raise stats, I don't think you need to worry about it too much. Personally, it seems to me that betting for value on the river is more profitable in general than going for check-raises in these limits. Of course that depends on the situation as well.

From the FAQ about check-raises:
"check-raises: This is often in the 1% to 2% range of all possible actions. It is not worth analyzing this stat to decide if you are "check raising enough". Post hands to do that."

Ack, I missed this completely. 42 hands where I defended a blind.

These are all stats that aren't critical. I "think" I've got ABC Hold'em at .5/1 down fairly well, but I'm always working on improving.

Just was looking on some side areas of my game that might (likely) need improving, and these were the stats that jumped out at me.

I also just found out about the drive to post responses "blind" to other's hands, and will begin doing so to improve, and this will likely help more than anything.

Thanks!
