Another big pot, ATs
Loose game at Greektown in Detroit. Blinds are 2-2-5. Utg straddles to 10. I have A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I call. I didn't raise because raises usually brought in around 4 callers and I didn't really want to play a big pot out of position. Surprisingly, it folds to the button who calls, and the small blind, a decent tight player makes it $40. He has about $700 which I have covered. The straddler calls, I call, and the button folds. 3 to the flop with around $140 in the pot. Flop is J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Preflop raiser bets $75, BB folds, I call. Pot is nearly $300. Turn is the Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. He checks. What's the play?

But what's your read? If you read him as weak, bombs away, fold to a check-raise (you're drawing dead anyway). |
