WOW Is Bad

as in World Of Warcraft, any of you guys have friends that are addicted to it and spent an unhealthy amount of time on it?

well my dad is right now, i estimate he averages about 8 hours of play per day, he's 59 and retired, and i'm serious

i can either just hope he gets over it after about another 500 hours of play, or I could say something

or is it my place to say anything? he's not neccesarilly doing anything wrong

as opposed to poker - which wastes time and life but can occasionally be profitable but is usually not to the majority of poker players ....

Piz0wn3red!!! from this forum plays a VERY unhealthy amount. He will go on 3-day stretches of not leaving his apartment. He's 23 and is potentially good with chicks, yet he prefers to waste his time with this.

the difference is poker makes you money and WoW costs money. This should be good enough.

He's retired, so who cares? He could be spending 8 hours out on the golf course, or 8 hours in the garden, or 8 hours sitting outside the diner chatting with all the locals, or 8 hours getting drunk at the strip club. WoW doesn't sound so bad [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

It's his free time, he's earned it.
