What book(s) should I get next?
I've been playing for about eight months, and I mostly play low limit HE. I've read ToP and SSH multiple times, and now I've decided I should expand my horizons. I wouldn't mind a good tournament book, either MTTs or SNGs, but another limit book would be nice too. Should I get TPFAP? HEFAP? I'd like to focus on HE. Thanks in advance.

Re: What book(s) should I get next?
If you want to focus on tournaments get Harrington on Hold Em. You'll appreciate the different writing style, and Dan's (slightly) different perspectives from the Sklanksy and co books. (They still rock, but you NEED some changes of pace.)
Then go for HEPFAP, then TPFAP. |

A friend of mine recommended THIS one to me awhile back. It doesn't get enough play here, but it has really helped my game. [/ QUOTE ] Inchoate, LOL, it doesn't surprise me that you recommend this |

I tried that book, but now I keep splashing the pot.
But seriously, I'd say TPFAP first followed quickly by HoH. Only bcause TPFAP goes into detail on the Gap Principle which Harrington makes reference to. TPFAP will also help with games beyond hold'em. But if you are going to buy one get HoH. |
