Yes and Yes

I don't see, at all, how you could possibly expect to draw any kind of conclusions relating to ego from this poll. There is no correlation between these questions and what you're hoping to conclude.

Perhaps if the # of 'yes' answers is greater than th # of well respected and proven veterans, then it can be at least said, that these forums are somewhat egotistical.

Whats an egos problem? (my flawed personality could not resist, sorry)

I have an ego problem. For real. Completely unjustified outside of my own mind. But it's fun in here. 1. (yes)

I don't play with you guys that I know of. Most of you would probably mop the floor with me headsup. 2. (no)

ppl tend to think they are:
a) smarter than avg.
b) better poker players than avg.

Its not only a 2+2 issue, everybody thinks theyre smarter than other ppl.

So, how do you expect to prove that they are not?

Am I smarter than the average 2+2er?
I cannot determine this. I am very smart but I don't know how smart the avg. 2+2er is. Just from reading the posts (which really doesn't give away much) I would say somewhere in the middle.

Am I a better poker player than the average 2+2er?
Probably not. But again I haven't played with most of them. The 2+2 tables we have sometimes usually aren't too profitable for me. On the other hand I crush the low limits easily (but then again many 2+2ers can do this too), so I don't know what the answer is. I would suspect I am better than many of 2+2ers and worse than many aswell.

With a gun to my head, I would say I am an average 2+2er in terms of poker playing ability and intelligence.
