Default Junk in the big blind

New to the table. Opponents are uknown to me as of yet.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 2 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (5 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls.

River: (8.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero...?

I'm interested to hear your opinion on what the best river action is. Does my kicker being taken out of play make you more or less likely to bet? Why?

Do you play the flop or turn differently?

I'd check call, let the buttons broken flush, JT, chop queen or kicker you, or his 9 (which would suck) bet.

fold to C/R if SB does so

I'd go with the check/call too, its not too hard to put someone on a 9, busted draws wont call but button might bluff at it. I've been a little weak on the river lately and maybe missing a bet or two, but I think its an ok play here.

I tend to agree. The reverse implied odds here are huge.

Check behind. Nobody's folding a better hand or calling with a worse one.

I can definetly see that, which is another reason why I posted it. When I raised the flop and the Button called I realized I was in a pretty crappy spot.

Anyway, the river got checked through. The Button had a busted club draw and the SB had Q3, so we chopped.
