Default Mistake on the turn? KK

I have no read on UTG. Does anyone bet this turn? I hated to give him a free card if he had a spade, but any turn bet pot commits me. What do you think?

I think you should bet the turn. If he had AA, I would think he would reraise preflop or flop. I think the only two hands you should be worried about here is A/K or A/Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. If he c/raises you on the turn, you're in a tight spot, but he might also flat call and try to c/raise the river to suck more out of you. I can see opponent calling with any over pair here, so bet it on the turn, make a decision on the river.

easy turn bet. you can fold if checkraised, and you don't want to give a cheap card to a spade or an ace. I would have bet at least 150.

If I bet $150, I only have $120 left. You would fold for $120 with a $535 pot? That was my problem. He might make that check raise with JJ or QQ with a spade.

sorry my mistake. I would still bet the turn, but just call an allin instead of folding if he would make a play like you describe. I think a flush is an unlikely hand for him here, not too many combos possible that call a reraise like that preflop.

I always seem to worry about flushed too much. It seems like every time I dont, the guy has the flush.

In the case he had AK with the ace of spades. The river was a 4 and he hit his gutshot and then checked it to me. I checked also of course. He told me he called my $80 flop bet because he had 12 outs. I cant think of any possible way he could have 12 outs. Even if I had QQ or JJ, he would only have 10 outs. With that thinking, Im pretty sure he wouldve called even if I pushed the turn all in since he now had a flush draw also and probably thought he had 21 outs.

I agree with you that betting the turn is probably correct though. I just didnt know what to do with a $266 pot when I had $270 left and theres a 3 flush on the board
