Re: The Suede Jacket
Really depends on the opponent. If the opponent has a pretty high VPIP and PFR, I'll check-raise the flop or turn expecting a calldown from unimproved pocket pairs and excessive action from worse Aces.
Against a solid opponent, probably check-call flop and turn and bet the river, although on your board, when that second ace comes I'd be inclined to bet out as well. |

Re: The Suede Jacket
Why not check raise the turn? If he has a pp then he'll likely bet it, assuming the second ace has improved his hand...and you won't get raised by many worse hands when you lead the turn.

Re: The Suede Jacket
Why not just buy a bunch of tote bags and them tie dye them...very fashionable.
I like to bet out this river. |

That or your gonna get drilled by Aces full or underfull and be drawing to 3 outs. The best line is this situation, IMHO, is to c/c the flop and c/c the turn. Then lead the river planning on calling a raise (unless you river a Q of course, in which case you'd obviously 3bet). lf |

Re: The Suede Jacket
i think the turn and river leads are a must. you can consider checking the turn, but once that A-hits, you have to fear a checkbehind so betting is great. river is obvious.
im curious though, suppose we are villian with KK/QQ/JJ, would this be a routine check through on the turn? bet/fold seems horrible because people try all kinds of [censored] when the A pairs. or is it bet/call? |

Problem with this is there's no guarantee he'll bet the turn, some players will check it through fearing an ace [/ QUOTE ] Most aggressive players will bet this turn 100% of the time and then check the river. If this player was not such a player, then leading the turn is fine. lf |
