Sng player curious how his limit game is
I primarily play omaha hilo, and nlhe stts as my preferred forms of poker, but have given a shot at bonus whoring as i needed a bankroll boost after a nice downswing and payment of a few bills. I just cleared the 1050 hands for the empire reload, and i am curious how my pt stats look as i have no idea. (yes im quite familiar with variance having played over 1000 sngs in the last 2 months so i know that the sample size is not very good).
at the .5/1 level vpip: 15.16 vp$fromsb: 34.01 folded sb to steal: 100 folded bb to steal: 80 att. to steal 31.25 won $ wsg: 29.53 bb/100: 4.55 went to sd: 28.65 won $ at sd: 64.29 pf raise: 8.18 thanks in advance, johnny |

Re: Sng player curious how his limit game is
you might be folding too much, likely a carry over from NHLE, in limit you get much better odds on calling river bets, and hence have to call more often with hands that are only 15-35% likely to win
you are too tight, and not aggressive enough for my liking at .5/1 but overall they are decent stats |

Re: Sng player curious how his limit game is
vpip: 15.16 - too low 18-19 would be better particularly at .5/1
vp$fromsb: 34.01 – fine folded sb to steal: 100 - Sample is way to small folded bb to steal: 80 - again really small sample att. to steal 31.25 - fine won $ wsf: 29.53 - ok bb/100: 4.55 - play 49K more hands went to sd: 28.65 - too low 30-32 would be better won $ at sd: 64.29 - too high either because your running very well or your folding to many winners pf raise: 8.18 - fine but a little higher would be better Overall you stats are good. You just need to tweak a few things. |

Re: Sng player curious how his limit game is
Only obvious thing I could see is that you fold too much postflop. You should see more showdowns with good draws and decent hands in big pots. This also reflects the fact that you win 64% of showdowns (higher than most 2+2ers at this level). You'r w$sd will go down, but your winrate will go up as you learn to not fold as much in big pots.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah, i can remember at least one time that i folded an overpair to the board when there where 4 hearts on the board and none in my hand....problem was there weren't any in either of my opponents hands either.... thanks everyone, as soon as i clear this intertops signup, i will be back where i belong...... you fold too much postflop [/ QUOTE ] He folds too much preflop too, and should be defending his blinds more often. |
