3/6 live at the Eldorado
I recently turned 21 and made my way to reno for some live poker. These 2 hands confused me a bit. Most of the player the game at question were LP, but the tricky LAG (tricky for a 3/6 game i mean) made things difficult for me.
Hand #1: Hero is dealt: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the bb Perflop: UTG (LP) calls, folded to LAG in MP who raises, folded me, Hero calls, UTG calls. Flop : AJT (2 diamonds) Hero bets, UTG raises, LAG 3-bets, Hero 4-bets, UTG 5-bets(caps), all call. UTG raise worried me a bit since she was mostly passive, the LAG 3-bet could mean alot of things, so i 4-bet thinking i could get more info Turn : blank Hero checks, UTG checks, LAG bets, all call At this point im thinking UTG has a straight, and am ready to fold since i didnt make my boat, when she checks behind me. When LAG bets into me, I think for a while and couldnt figure out what was going on, so i called. River : blank Hero checks, UTG bets, LAG raises, Hero folds UTG bets now? Oh well, with the raise im certain im beat now, and fold Hand #2: Hero is dealt: JJ in MP Preflop : UTG (tight, moderatly aggressive) raises, folded to Hero who 3-bets, folded to LAG(same from hand #1) in bb who calls, UTG calls. Flop : T94 rainbow LAG checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, LAG 3-bets, all call Turn : blank LAG checks, UTG checks, Hero checks i hate my play here, im certain i should have bet here River : K LAG bets, UTG calls, Hero folds |

Re: 3/6 live at the Eldorado
I would check/raise the LAG in the first hand to try and knock UTG out of the hand. The way you played it, i'm calling the LAGS raise.
The second I would have capped the flop and bet the turn. |
