Default For all you Bot makers and pokersite CEO\'s

Weak players/good programers spend their energy making Bots instead of learning how to play. Then come around to pokerforums and boast with the results. Some bots fail, some make it. I personnally don't really care but many consider bots a future threat. I'm sure pokersites invest in software to spot them but not enough cause they are getting so common.

Here is how 2+2 bot creators could contribute more to this forum instead of just posting results or selling them. Why don't you discuss using them legally with pokersites? Just name them clearly for example ("Bot Prototype 1") so everyone knows that there is one at the table. It would be interesting to play against them. Since pokersites also knew who the bots were they could improve their software to detect and prevent bot use.

Mayby there could even be a competition. The bots profits go to pool and the creator of the most successful bot collects it!

stop drinking so much.

what these sits 'should do' is have tech geeks working around the clock to find new ways of detecting these things. my last day at work is in about 2 weeks, after that i have some interest in attcking this bot issue with vigor. maybe getting some petition type thing on here and demand to know what party is doing about this, or seeting up a committe to keep an go over bot complaints and then forward them to party etc....

A better way is to get everyone's cards from the site with "special software" and give back 50% to the site's tech geek that let you in...

I could even beat the bots that way...or hire a monkey to do it for me.

Why the arrogant attitude? Have you ever played against a bot? I think you are unaware of the "skills" that pokerbots has these days. I'm not talking about winholdem and other public bots but rather bots developed by scientists/students at universities. These bots are even known to beat professional pokerplayers (only heads up poker sofar...).

I personally think that bots will change internet poker in a not all too distant future. I also fear that the "cheaters" always will be one step ahead of the pokersites as in most cases where there is money involved.
