Default Wired Aces and the long shot pre-flop player?

How would you play the following?

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button (Foe) 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, Foe calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Foe calls.

Turn: (5.75 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Foe calls.

River: (7.75 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Foe bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.75 BB

I think you should bet this river/fold to a raise.

It's a much better line, by checking your practically begging him to bluff you here.

I think he has a high PP or AK.
No way he has a six (nor QJ), so you might just bet out on the river for value, cause you are ahead in this situation most of the time.
I would call a river raise too.

unless villain is a maniac, he's not 3-betting you preflop with QJ or any hand w. a 6 in it. bet the river.

I should point out that villain only needs a single J to win here. Pocket J's are certainly a reasonable holding for a PF 3-better. AJs might be 3-bet by some people.

Eh, I'd probably check/call too. If he bluffs, well, so what? It's not going to work because I'm calling regardless. If he has nothing, thanks for the money.

I think this is better than bet/folding because he may bluff raise. I don't like bet/calling because we're probably going to lose.

If you check with the intention of calling, isn't inducing a bluff exactly what you want to do? It seems that the only preflop 3-betting hands that we beat that would actually call a river bet are KK and QQ, and I think we would have heard a little more out of them on the flop. A scared JJ, a slowplayed TT, and maybe AJs, whoop us. Do you think that AK, and maybe AQs, will call a river bet often enough that the EV is greater than the EV of inducing a bluff from someone who wouldn't have called a bet, or from saving a bet from a better hand raising?

Also, if he's the kind of player to bluff a river scare card, might he also bluff with a raise?
