shorthanded PL JJ
PL is a bit different from NL in that re-raising can only be the size of the pot rather than all-in (duh), but that sometimes creates odd re-re-re-raising situations that simply won't happen in NL, where it's raise-reraise(or push)-push.
3 handed PL 1000 i have 1400. villian in this hand has me covered with 2000ish. he seems pretty decent. he potsizes the button to 35. i make it an even 100 from the SB with J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. BB folds an villian makes it 210 to go. Comments? |

Re: shorthanded PL JJ
I posted a similar hand with KK in NL 200 (3/5). I preflop raised to 50 and was limp-re-raised to 200. For me, the correct move was fold. Maybe the same is true here?

Re: shorthanded PL JJ
Well it's interesting that he only made it 210 - he could've called your 100 then raised the pot to over 300 right?
I would definitely call. |

Re: shorthanded PL JJ
I don't think you can fold here as you have implied odds to flop a set.

Re: shorthanded PL JJ
you have plenty of implied odds plus pot odds to flop a set, and you still may be good. i am not folding, and reraising here is bad, so i call.
