Default How much did i overbet this pot?

FullTilt 5/10 Hold'em
No read on villian, he sat down a few hands ago

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="blue"> (9 players) </font>
<font color="red">UTG raises </font>, 1 fold, <font color="red"> Hero 3 bets </font>, 6 folds, <font color="red"> UTG+1 caps </font>, Hero calls

Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img],3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="blue"> (2 Players) </font>
<font color="red"> Villian bets</font>, Hero raises, <font color="red"> Villian 3 bets</font>, Hero caps, Villian calls.

Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
<font color="red"> Villian bets</font>, Hero raises, <font color="red"> Villian 3 bets</font>, Hero caps, Villian calls.

I think you're fine...the dude wants to give his money away...unfortunately, it wasn't your day to take it...

I might slow down on the turn fearing a set of 7's but other than that what could he have had...

if you leave the results out sometimes you get better discussion.

I'm calling down after the turn bet, maybe after the 3-bet.

But i'm definitely not capping the turn and river.

Did you know this guy was a lunatic before the hand?

If not, then you can't slow down at least until he 3-bets the turn, and maybe not even then. For a normal player, there is no possible PF capping hand that is beating you except (maybe) 77.

I thought this at first as well. But, IMO, anyone capable of having hero beat here, is probably also capable of playing QQ and KK like this too. (maybe even TT and JJ)

I'm not saying I cap every stret like I have the nuts, but I think in this situation, all of the villian aggression isn't as indicative of us being behind as it usually is.
