Default Bubble Question

Is this an easy fold?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (4 handed) converter

Hero (t3265)
UTG (t5130)
Button (t2080)
SB (t3025)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to t1225</font>, <font color="#666666">SB folds</font>.

Final Pot: t1300

To me it seems like an easy call. There are no real short stacks that you can outlast to the money. I think id take my 50/50 here and play for first, but I'm pretty new at this and like to hear what the better players decide.

Do you mean push? I don't think it is a call at all. He may be betting less than a push because he wants to suck you in, or he may be leaving himself a way out. If you call, you will most likely be calling later bets, so if you want to play, get your money in now and give him a chance to fold.

77 is a coinflip to AA-22, A8+, KTs+, KJo+.
If he starts playing Aces or Kings with kickers 7 and under it gets better in a hurry.

If it is 50/50
ICM
.359 x .5 + .119 x .5 = .239 as if he pushed and you call
.231 fold

If he has a real wide range of hands it will be a lot better. If he has a real narrow range of hands it will be a lot worse. If it has been really easy to steal, a fold looks better.

Possible spot for a stop-n-go. If he misses completely he may still hope to get lucky with his 800 chips.

On the whole, without any read, I guess I lean towards stop-n-go.

You don't see a stop-n-go line here?

I take that back. I think stop-n-go might make him fold more than raising him preflop.
