Who Pays the Neteller Fees--You or Your Affiliate?
If your affiliate transfers money into your Neteller account who pays the fees? You or the affiliate? If you have to pay them, is that figured into your percentage of rakeback?
So in other words, if you have a 20% rakeback deal it amounts to only 18% if you have to pay the Neteller fees. So when your affiliate says you're getting 20%, is that 20% net including the fees, or is it 18% net after the fees? |

Questions like this is why you should have your affiliates contact info and ask them...
When someone sends you money on Neteller, you pay the fees when you accept the payment. |

Re: Who Pays the Neteller Fees--You or Your Affiliate?
First of all, it's a little over 19.6% you're getting if you have a 20% deal and you pay the fees. Not worth worrying about IMO.

[/ QUOTE ] Neteller also takes 1.9% on Canadian exchange, so whenever I withdraw money from my neteller account, which is in US funds, to my Canadian bank account, I pay 1.9% over and above actual exchange. So for any month that I withdraw/get rakeback transfer over $2000 combined, I pay more than $40 to neteller for the privilege. I remember when I was going to sign up for neteller back in the day, I wasn't sure I trusted them because they were "free". Well, for many users, they're not free, but may cost hundreds or thousands of dollars per year. Last year, neteller sent out e-mails trumpeting that they were now allowing accounts in other currencies, including Canadian dollars. I switched my account over, thinking that now I could avoid the exchange fees associated with withdrawing. Long story short, this was immediately prior to the golden age of casino whoring, and when I went back a month or two later, I realized I had paid around $300 to neteller in exchange juice. I'm not saying don't use neteller, (I'm still using it, after all), I'm just saying they make a lot of money who still think their neteller account is free. |
