Default Empire randomly taking money from my account?

Has anyone had problems with Empire's tournaments tonight? I tried playing a 3 table $30/$3, and the tournament just disappeared before it started. The money was deducted from my account, yet their support people are struggling to understand english, apparently they don't know what "refund" means.

Also, when tables are closed in the MTT's tonight, they still list them in the tourney window with 255 players. I think their software is struggling under the load.

Hmm, I played two tournaments for $60 (a $27 and $33) tonight. I have finished both and won $90. But my account is $3 less than when I started tonight. Hmm, looks like I got charged for a another $33 tonight, doesn't it? Is that good enough record keeping for you?

And note, I'm not saying they are stealing. I'm saying their buggy software is having a meltdown, and that includes listing a bogus tourney that I was charged for, but that never ran. And their clueless support isn't doing anything to refund it to me.

BTW, I think you owe me $1k. Empire support just sent me a hand history to "prove" I played a third tournament tonight. I had to tell them to read the hand's date/time stamps, they were all from Friday.

Go to "My account, Website" from the lobby and look at your account activity.

You will at least then know where the money thinks it has gone.

This may speed up your support torture.

I guess I owe you $1k (and empire an apology). Turns out I hadn't recorded the tourney from Friday. Can I pay you when I win my first bracelet?

Yea, it's a new policy. Every weekend they take one of their users at random and take a little money out of their account, just to see if they notice.
