Default OMG - 9 day winning streak and counting

9 days in a row, I've been up on the 5/10's. And 250 BB's in the past 3 days (18 hours)!

I'm trying to bottle the glee for those impending losing streaks.

Both of you need to read Super System 2, page 136.

I don't know what it says, but I'm almost certain it says that one shouldn't try to just book wins for each day just to have a consecutive winning days streak; as one day you'll get stuck too deep in a whole to recover. It's one long session.

I disagree that you should not prop up winning streaks by quitting early on certain days. I often will quit early for the psychological lift that the long winning streak is providing. Similarly, I will stop with a very small win if it is the culmination of a recovery from a steep loss. For example, if I am down at some point $1,400 and come all the way back to be up $15, I will almost always stop.

I realize that it is one long poker session, but how I feel about myself and my game is very important and I do things to enhance the positive feelings.

Maybe it's just me, but even though I am a solid winner and cash tons of money out of Party, I still need these lifts.

Joe
