It hurts when I drink beer

My jaw hurts like a toothache near my wisdom teeth are. This happens only when I drink beer and to a lesser extent some wines. I don't know why, anybody have a clue?

Does it hurt when you drink soda or specifically ice cold soda?

If not, then I'm clueless.

See a dentist.

Second thought, it could be muscle spasms in your jaw caused by tension. Your subconcious might be setting it off and you don't even know it. I had some stress related stuff do that to me once. For months I thought I had a cavity. Nope, it was just muscles.

Hey, everyone has their own preferences. I would rather have a $1 can of chef boyardee ravioli sprinkled with parmesan than a $100 dollar diner at Moe's even if the cost was the same. Although I must admit, their bernaise sauce alone is almost worth the $100. But I couldn't eat it on a daily basis.

are you taking any medications? alcohol can interact with a lot of different drugs

No medication, I take Claritin on occasion but it happens regardless or not I've taken allergy medicine.

I'd be willing to bet it has something to do with the yeast in the beer. I'm no dentist though. Speaking of dentist, you may want to skip that trip all together and go straight to the oral surgeon.
