Further adventures into the world of spray
Again from memory, this time I forget the villains.
Party 15/30. I openraise in the hijack with JJ. I've been tight and in-line so far. Both blinds call. Flop is T85, two hearts. I don't have a heart. SB bets, BB raises, I 3-bet, SB calls, BB caps, I call, SB calls. 3 to the turn for 9 BBs - $3. Turn is an 8. SB checks, BB bets, I raise, SB calls, BB 3-bets, and now I should fold, yes? |

Re: Further adventures into the world of spray
Hands BB plays like this:
88 (1): 0 outs TT (3): 2 outs (probably would raise this preflop though) 55 (3): 4 outs T8s(2): 2 outs (maybe fold preflop, and depending on the suits of the cards there might only be 1 combo of these available) The post don't give sufficient information. If the 8 is a non [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] he could have played A8/98[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] this way. Would he play 85s preflop, could he have slowplayed a higher PP? If we answer that question with no: 22/9= 2.44 outs on average. You'll need ~2.7 outs to to call but I think the implied odds might cover. Besides, judging from his preflop and flop play 55 is the most likely hand and against 55 we'll have 4 outs. Assuming the other player will call and the estimation we'll have 2.44 outs will be pretty accurate we only need to make 1BB on the river when we hit. Easy call in that case. Is my estimation way off? EDIT: hands we could add to BB that puts us in a worse situation is AA-QQ, 85, T8o. Adding some off these doesn't change the call, I think. I'm usually playing 2-4, someone might wanna correct me if I'm being a retard |

Los Resultatos
To summarize:
Party 15/30. I openraise in the hijack with JJ. I've been tight and in-line so far. Both blinds call. Flop is T85, two hearts. I don't have a heart. SB bets, BB raises, I 3-bet, SB calls, BB caps, I call, SB calls. 3 to the turn for 9 BBs - $3. Turn is an 8. SB checks, BB bets, I raise, SB calls, BB 3-bets, I think about folding but call, SB calls. River is a K that completes the frush. SB bets, BB raises, I muck, SB calls. BB has T8, SB has a Q high frush. Thanks to Nick who convinced me that I have a good call on the turn. |

Re: Further adventures into the world of spray
I don't think I like the raise on the turn here.

I don't think I like the raise on the turn here. [/ QUOTE ] me neither. I don't think it's worth having to pay an extra 2 bets when behind. |

Re: Further adventures into the world of spray
Hmm. I would have just called HU, but with a 10 BB pot and a likely very live draw behind me I felt I had to raise.
