Very little on games with fewer players (shorthanded)
I'm very disappointed at the way basic Hold'em books fail to address such an important subject if, like me, you play typically with just three to five other players around the home table. I really need to start with modifying opening hand strategy, to take account of the fewer players. The one line on the subject in Small Stakes Hold'em (Sklansky et al) is at best inadequate and at worst perjorative. Any assistance gratefully recived. :-)

The fact that there is so little literature on 6max play is a GOOD thing, not a bad thing.

Er, only if you already know how to play it. We play no limit £1 and £2 blinds, home game. Pool of seven, with 4-6 turning up on any given night. The standard is ignorant, rather than poor exactly, although last time someone went all in (£38) on top of other betting before the flop. He had T-7 offsuit. One caller with A-Q offsuit (lost). It was me.
