Bet it. BB's got some ace, probably not A8, He'll call you down. Button raised, so he probably doesn't have the clubs or the 8, but he seems determined to call down as well.

SB may be check/raising you here, but be a good sucker and walk into his trap if he his. You're don't need to be right too often for there to be value in a bet.

I'm not sure if you can safely fold to a C/R from SB, but I'd probably want to.

Don't open-limp with 77 in MP.

Raise the flop.

Bet the river.

you missed about a bajillion bets.

raise the flop. this board is VERY coordinated, you want to start chargin right about... now. your hand, however, is strong enough that you needn't "wait for the turn." a bunch of cold-callers is aiiight.

bet/raise the turn until the cows come home. then drag everyone back to the table and raise them again. you seemed to be on this one.

bet the river like it's goin' outta style. you can fold to a raise.

you can open limp 77 in MP1 just fine if the table is aiiight for it. it's still early enough that not raising this isn't a crime.

I don't like raising the flop because I've got the preflop raiser still behind me to act, and tons of overcall action, and if I'm lucky he'll raise it. Isn't a preflop raise with 77 a little early at MP1? Loose passive table.

I wasn't sure about charging gutshots or building a pot if I boat it since it was so terribly coordinated.

I like his plan. Unless he's got a read on button as passive, it's very likely button's gonna raise this flop. If that's the case, Hero can 3-bet.

Hero 3-betting only serves to bloat the pot and give more odds to people chasing gutshots, and Button raising only puts SB in the bind of having to call 2 cold. Agreed that Hero has a very strong hand at this point, but raising is clearly better on this board...besides, it's also possible that Button 3-bets it.
