Definitely a fold. You have to know to get rid of huge overpairs on coordinated boards and with certain resistance and this hand has both. Good laydown for sure.

First of all, you should use the hand converter to protect AZK from getting criticism over his moronic preflop fold. His hand was very very playable there. Second of all, I know you didn't ask about it, but your preflop play here was absolutely dreadful. You gave up a lot of information (essentially narrowing your hand range to AA/KK - see plenty of posts on this board about min-re-raise preflop = AA/KK) without getting hardly any additional cash into the pot. Re-raise to at least 50. A re-raise preflop should at least make the initial raiser THINK about folding. Otherwise, you are not getting the proper amount of cash into the pot. You probably have the best hand and you want to get the most money in. If your raise is so small that he will definitely call it, then you could have raised more and had a high likelihood of his calling. As your raise increases, his likelihood to call it decreases. You want to raise the amount that maximises the product of the bet amount and the probability of his calling. A min-raise is not that.
Lastly, I'm not sure how much I like the fold on the end. If I had a nickel for every time call, call, big bet was a busted draw, I would have many many nickels. |
