Default Maybe he think s I\'m stealing

I played this hand yesterday. No reads on the BB. Maybe the flop raise is questionable, but I figured he could have figured me for a steal while I wanted him to figure to fold. I'd fold the turn u/i. Any reason not to raise the turn after I do imporve?

I like the flop raise.

On the turn, I would just call planning to raise the river UI. You want him to keep betting whatever it is he has--he probably doesn't have you beat.

River is fine of course.

I see no compelling reason to raise the turn here.

Yeah, I see it now. The only hand he could have that makes some sense that I beat at that point is KK.

The only reason I can think of to raise the turn is that BB is a little short-stacked going into the hand, and has already committed almost all of his chips to the pot at that point. People will make some really weird plays in situations like that. Otherwise, the fact that he's 3-bet consecutive streets already & led into you when the A hit the board tend to make calling my preferred option.

As it stands, I have to believe that the river bailed you out in a big way.
