Default Rate my performance

So I am at the local Indiana Ceasars Boat, playing some 3-6 hold'em. here is the hand. The game is mainly loose passive, and we just condensed players so I only have reads on half the table.

Preflop (Late position, right before button): As Qd
comes to me mp3 raises, and 6 call.

Flop.: Ah Qs Jd
bb bets, mp3 raises,3 call to me, I 3 bet, then 5 all.

Turn(5 players): 2c
Checked to me, I bet, button folds, 3 call, mp5 raises, everyone calls

River(4players): 4d
checked to mp5, he bets, everyone calls.

Seeing as the guy waited till the turn to check raise, I had a hint he was on a str8. Couldn't be sure cause he just joined the table, so I called. Was this correct? I ended up losing to lil buddy )mp5) with his str8.

i think coldcalling 2 w/ AQo is typically not too great...

He's playing the 53 on that flop? If you do anything less than add him to the top of your buddy list, I'm disappointed in your performance.

I'm not sure what happened here, mostly because your hand is too hard to read. Read some posts and see how others do it so its clear and understandable.

If I'm understanding correctly, there were 20+ big bets in after the turn, in which case you were right to call down. If he's bluffing 5% of the time you are making a profitable call, and surely he could've made this raise with a hand you could beat.
