Three handed flopped flush
Villain in this hand is very aggressive if he's a PF raiser so I figure the implied odds on this hand are good. 4 straight hands he's raised one of my blinds (he was button when I was BB before, and now is button while I'm SB) and all 4 times I called (nice run of cards with bad flops). All 4 times I missed the flop entirely and checked it to him to which he made a pot-sized bet and I folded.
Here's the hand: PS NL .01/.02 Villain: 2.5 Hero: 4.5 BB: Not important I have K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain raises to .08 (standard raise for the guy), Hero calls and BB folds. Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villain bets .16 (pot = .18), Hero thinks for a bit and calls Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villain bets .3 (pot = .5), Hero thinks for a bit and min-raises River: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero cries and checks, Villain bets .2, Hero calls. Re: Three handed flopped flush
I'm swearing off slow-playing flopped flushes, straights, and sets against bad players at small stakes once and for all. Your bets get called and they hit their miracle outs too often to make playing it slow profitable. That, and my head is going to explode if I keep doing it and the results remain the same...
