Default how to do search where it doesn\'t return every single post?

ok i'm getting really frustrated w/ the serach function here... am i doing something wrong?... when i search for something... it will... for example.. return 30 posts... all in the sam ehtread... can't it just return the threads and not the posts?i feel like i have to search.. then click about 15 pages through to have a remote chance of finding what i'm looking for...

If you want to search for three words, use the format

+party +bonus +new

to return a search that includes all of those words, rather than any of them

Ditto! So simple, yet so awesome. This place REALLY needs a better search engine.
