Default AJo - defending the blind against SB raise...

SB seemed TAGgish.. maybe not a total TAG, but not a fucktard, either. Maybe 24/7/1.2ish over a 2-3 orbit sample.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
7 folds, SB raises, Hero calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (3 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

You need to 3-bet this one preflop. If you are going to get fancy and just call, you need to punish him straight away with raises on lots of different flops. This one qualifiies. You are a surely a huge favorite on this flop.

Generally, when I defend my BB to a raise from the SB or Button, I will 3-bet. This makes the hand much easier to play and you will take the pot down with a flop bet a good number of times.

You really should 3-bet this preflop. Honestly I don't get why you're playing it this way on the turn -- I think your fold equity is only high if he has absolutely no hand at all, at which point, you're bluff-raising with the best hand. Fun.

Seemed retarded to me upon reflection, as well.
