Default KQ hits top pair against resistance

My first hand at the table, so obviously no reads. Main questions are about the turn and the river.

Any comments about the turn 3-bet? I went for it thinking the card is pretty innocuous and villain may just have "waited until the turn" with top pair.

Bet the river? My read given the turn cap was that villain either slowplayed a set or turned two pair, in which case he now has a full house.

In general a turn 3-bet here is very bad. If he's bluffing he will fold. If he's got two pair or a set he is capping. If he's got a worse pair he will either fold or call down.

Most of the time in this situation you are beat, but your hand is good a high enough % of the time that you should call down.

villain has probably put you on top pair on the flop and is more likely thinking "i'm gonna trap him w/ my 2 pair or set on the turn"

i don't think i'd be 3-betting the turn very often cause you're probably behind. his 2 pair got counterfeited on the river?

Turn check-raises are rarely bluffs at 2/4.

He's telling you he beats your top pair.

Further, even if it is a bluff, 3-betting will make him fold.

Call the turn raise and make a crying call on the river (unimproved).
