Final Pot: 11.75 BB in particular, the turn play... should i have raised him even though he decided to lead against me on the turn?... also how about the preflop?... should i have raised that hand to drive the blinds out and isolate?.. or are my cards not good enough to do that? |

Re: how is my play on this TP-med kicker hand?
I can't really find too much fault in your play.
PREFLOP: maybe raise, but calling isn't bad. FLOP: standard TURN: I like the raise. Your hand may still be best. You have OESD. And you may be able to check the river if a scare card comes. (Sucks that he 3-bet, though). RIVER: You may consider folding here. Adam |

Re: how is my play on this TP-med kicker hand?
I think the flop raise is fine.
On the turn, I probably would have called, to chase my straight more cheaply. Of course, you could be ahead here, but I think you're behind more often. And he'll probably bet something like K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] again on the river anyway, those times that's what he has. If so, you're only missing one bet overall when has a worse hand plus a draw and doesn't improve. And sometimes he'll have something better, and you'll save bets. Since you raised the turn and he 3-bet (indicating he mostly likely has a pretty good hand), I suspect the river might be a fold, despite the now fairly substantial pot odds. But I probably would have called too. |

Re: how is my play on this TP-med kicker hand?
With an unknown openlimping from MP2 I'm raising.
I'd usually fold the river as his line screams monster, but against an unknown I don't think the call is too bad. At the very least you'll get a read on him. |

Re: how is my play on this TP-med kicker hand?
I think preflop this is either a raise or fold.
Flop looks good. On the turn I would call because you have position and draws to improve. On the river, since you have position, you'll have the ability to raise if you hit and call if you miss. |
