Default Sigh, QQ against this crap

0.25-0.50 limit hold em pokerroom.com 10 handed

CO is unknown. UTG is a fish. 70%/1/50. Loosey goosy as I'd call em.. He bets out raises with questionable holdings. (like 2nd pair.) I'm not giving credit for the straight yet. Would you? I didn't raise the flop because I was planning to check raise the turn (non-scare card), but then the board looked bad. I didn't want to give up my hand when the board has a flush and possible straight draws so I called. How'd you play it against this type of player. And how does the check-raise sound? I could trap a few opponents this way...

EDIT*** disregard my comment about the straight draws, that makes no sense now that I think about it. A cold will do that to ya..

Hero is BB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Preflop:

UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO calls, SB folds, Hero raises , all call.

Flop: (10.5 SB) 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Turn (8.75 BB) 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, UTG bets , MP2 folds, CO calls, Hero calls.

River (11.75 BB) J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero checks, UTG bets , CO folds, Hero calls.

CO looks like he was on the flush draw.

There is nothing you can really do, I wouldnt fold your hand. I think the call down was just fine.

Goto war on the flop. Going for a flop call-turn check/raise is a poor plan given your position relative to the raiser, the board and the # of ppl in the pot.

I would 3-bet this flop. I don't care that I am giving my hand away here, I want UTG,MP2,CO to give me the most money for all their draws and 3-betting here does that. Check-raising the turn sounds horrible because you have to avoid a 7,8,3,2,6,A and a club (maybe more cards) for a check-raise to be correct.

I see why I should raise the flop now. Thanks for the advice.
