AJ at the 25/50 level.
I'm trying to get a feel for what to play at this particular level (25/50). The blinds are starting to become valuable and people are usually starting to tighten up. I have decent position and want to steal the blinds. I generally use a 4xBB raise here. I feel people will just fold more hands for T200 and if they play they really have something and I've gained info. With BTN coming over the top I feel I'm probably dominated and still have plenty of chips for the blind stealing wars to come.
How did I play this and what would be the low range of hands you raise/steal with here? What amt. do you like to raise? Re: AJ at the 25/50 level.
Does one really need a range of hands with which to steal? Since you're either going to fold to a pre-flop re-raise OR check/fold the flop to a caller, you might as well steal with 72o. I think that (1) POSITION and (2) THE STEALEEs are more relevant concerns.
