I am running into a new problem in 5/10 and I would like advice. I only seem to win small pots and only lose big ones. When I win everyone folds on the flop, I win $20. $10 raise PF, $10 call PF, they fold flop.
When I lose its people sucking out on me in $100 pots at the river. I have to win so many hands to compensate. I raise a lot in the 5/10 6 max espeically from position and 90% of the time with the better hand. Suggestions? Check raise more? Wait till turn to raise? Limp more? Play tricky? Whats best? I play preflop as if a full game with 4 people autofolding ahead. VPIP 18.23% Win at showdown 38% went to showdown 33% Aggression 2.37 See flop 25.4% 9,600 hands for Jan 2005 |

VPIP 18.23% [/ QUOTE ] I'm not the foremost expert, but this seems a bit low for a 6-max game and your symptoms match. |

Whats the solution then? Someone else told me the same thing. Check raise more instead of betting out with 3 players or less? With 3 players in the pot I find most of the time the last to go always bets if it is checked to him.

I'm squeaky-tight and I still am over 20% on flops 6-max. Looks like your horribly-low W%SD is what is hurting you at the moment. Looks like bad running.
