Default Dumb question

What is a "carpal tunnel" besides a title for high volume posters?

Maybe this is because I'm from Holland

Carpal tunnel is a repetitive strain syndrome that affects many people who repeatedly strain their wrists through typing or gardening or other activities. So, a high-volume poster has presumably repeatedly strained their wrist and should have CT.
