Default Response from party about collusion.

Yesterday there was collusion at my SNG table. I asked for my buy in back, but i didnt get it. This was the response they sent me.

Thank you for bringing this to our notice. We do see that this player
has been announcing his hole cards before the game is over. We agree
that this is against the established Poker Etiquette and amounts to
violation of the same.

Based on your report and subsequent investigation, we have,

1) Blocked his chatting facilities
2) Sent him a warning letter, stating that such actions are not
encouraged in this card room and further action might be initiated if similar
actions are repeated.
3) Flagged his account to periodically review the player?s activities.

Steve, we thank you for bringing this to our notice, as this is in
keeping with our priority of keeping up the integrity of this card room and
the fairness of our games. It indeed is heartening to have players like
you in this card room who care about the integrity of our games.

We once again thank you for bringing this to our notice. Should you
have any questions regarding this or any other issue please contact us at
alerts@partypoker.com and we will be more than glad to assist you

Regards,

Kinda shitty that you didn't get your buyin back, but you had the same advantage there as everybody else, so I guess I can understand. Glad to see they're doing something, and I hope that they nail this guy if he does it again.

The4Aces,
If you ask me, it was worth the dollar to get a reasonable response within a reasonable time, stating that you were correct and that action is being taken against this person both now and in the future(probation).

Trust me, this is almost as good as it gets from Party

Although on second thought you might try sending this letter as an attachment with a follow up letter to the infamous:

Attn: Lucy Jones
Customer Care Manager
Party Poker
info@partypoker.com

Not sure if she has her own personal e-mail address, maybe someone else can jump in on that...

If anyone would give your dollar back it would be her, but you better be nice or you'll give the rest of us a bad name

With an attitude like that he'll never get be able to make the moves necessary to hurt him in a cash game.

Ugh. I feel so dirty all of a sudden

I would certainly send a follow-up e-mail further details that since party agreed that the game was compromised you should be entitled to a refund.

Begin by thanking them for taking actions against this guy.

Mention something about 'as a good faith effort on their part to maintain your business' and further-more mention that you are a 'fairly high-volume player on party (or empire or wherever) and you would hate to have to take your play elsewhere'

It's possible they just looked at the collusion angle and forgot or ignored the part about you wanting a refund.
you might have a chance at it if you write back again.

Then again, I wouldn't blame you if you just said 'F It! It's not that big a deal.'

im impressed with their reply if they are taking the actions that they say they are. i dont think its their responsibility to give you your buyback with their own money. if they were to refund your money out of the colluders winnings that would be more reasonable.
