yes it is a bad fold.

CO probably has a K (KQ maybe?), and I bet UTG had a T (JT or something like that). You'll be shown a flush or a QJ sometimes, but not nearly enough to fold top pair-good kicker for one bet on pot laying better than 10:1.

First of all, if the villain is an idiot why didn't you tell us that up front? Barring that read I have a hard time figuring out what an average player is betting on that river that doesn't beat you.

You raised pre-flop, the board has an Ace and a King, no-one can possibly expect you to fold here for one bet. That, plus the additional player, makes it a very unlikely spot for a bluff.

I'm not saying a fold is correct, but without a read on the CO as tricky it's certainly not a disaster.
