Default Baddass Play

$5/$10 NL, limper, I raise to $30 with Qs Js in MP, someone calls from behind me, limper goes all in for $85, I reraise to $180. Pretty badass huh?

Well, I'd probably call it smart, but call it what you like, I like the play.

Depends. If the first player to call your raise is very straightforward, fine, you have just stuck a lot of chips out there to take a coinflip at best with a bit of overlay... Likely a very marginal +EV play. But add in the small possibility that the first player called your raise with a big pair (its not unheard of, just ask Craze9) and well this play seems like a lot of work for not much benefit.

It is ok to gamble the 1st caller to fold his hand, but a call is also not bad, coz the short stake may already beat u and u may want to get the 1st caller money if u hit your card.
I prefer call and see the flop and decide what u do.

why raise? do u see the first limper have really short stake?

Thinking about it now, I can't see any advantage to reraising over calling his $85 bet. ??

This is my usual play in this situation.

Calling isn't for me. Especially when the guy who called you now makes it another $120.

As fsuplayer said, it's good for image.

If it gets the other player to fold, you are getting almost 3-to-1 odds for what is possibly a coinflip, or at worst a 4-to-1 dog or so. QQ is 85% over your hand, most other "bad hands" are in the range of 60-80%.

What do you put the all-in guy on?
