Default Just screwed up clearing a casino bonus...

I just accidentally misclicked and bet £100 ($200) on an hand of blackjack, whilst clearing a bonus. The £100 button was about 3mm away from the 'rebet' button which I intended to click. I had such a fast mechanical action I only noticed after it was too late.

Next thing I know the balance is down by £100! I emailed support, but dont really expect them to help in any meaningful way.

Feel pretty stupid, anyone else screwed up doing this before?

Nothing that bad, just screwing up basic strategy you know hitting on 12 when the dealer has a 5 showing, that kind of stuff.

heh yeah thats not so bad as blowing $200 in one hand.

Of course, i would not be complaining if i was delt BJ...

I do feel its pretty stupid to have the £100 bet button SO close to the rebet button, one might even claim it was intentional if they were in a suspicious mood.

Ive emailed support explaining things, lets see what they say. This was Intercasino, anyone have any experiance with them in the past?

I have heard things in the past about 'mistakes' like this happening when it was a clear rebet.
edit: meaning that the casino software was buggy and rebet was hit but a bigger bet was put in place.

I accidentally hit the fold button and discarded a flopped set of kings in a nice pot that was only going to get nicer. I would have won around $100 in the hand. You're not the first to shoot themself in the foot, nor will you be the last.

I'm pretty sure you're out of luck. If they gave you a refund on stuff like this, the casino would never win!

There's no way you are getting back your money. Think about what have happend if you won that hand? Would you have reported to their helpdesk that it was a misclick and then won money should be taken away?

I feel sorry for you, of course.

I don't know how it is in the UK, but the US interface of intercasino (and other cryptos) has the $25 chip button right next to the rebet button, so it is definitely possible to be careless and bet a green chip instead of a few white chips before catching yourself.

I know this because I've done it a few times myself, especially if I've got poker going on at the other computer and I'm bouncing back and forth.

US$25 is obviously not as bad as L200 so not the end of the world for me (though it might blow a big chunk out of my whoring EV). but since you have the ability to pull back an incorrect bet before playing the hand, once you hit the "deal" button, I doubt you have any recourse.

Think of it like this, the bigger the bet the higher the EV.
