Default AKo UTG, am I seeing monsters?

Hi, I'm posting this because I feel I'm doing things wrong on TPTK or TPGK hands, I get pasive if someone rises my flop bet felling that I'm behind and just call from there to the river, take a look at this hand:

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 3-bets, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds, Hero caps, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, SB calls.

Flop: (17 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, MP2 calls, SB folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (11.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

River: (14.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 17.50 BB

It was early in the session so no good reads on UTG+1 but I thought this person actually had a clue on how to play so he wasn't just a random fish. I felt UTG+1 had 2 pairs or better on the flop as he could very well have AJ on the poket (maybe not but I thought it was very possible, am I wrong?), and the J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] came on the turn, now if UTG+1 didn't had a jack the person that overcalled could possibly have one and I would still be behind, so I just didn't felt very confident betting and rising this hand and I don't know if I'm wrong. This happens often, I got TPTK or TPGK (or overpairs sometimes) and if someone rises my bet I always fear I'm behind 2 pair or better. Please tell me if I'm just seeing monsters. Thanks.

I don't always cap AKo OOP, depends on the table. Most of the time I do though.
I would 3 bet the flop and see what happens from there.

Yeah I know probably capping AKo UTG is deabatable but actually I was trying to knock people out but it didn't work.

If I 3-bet the flop and gets capped, should I check and fold uninproved or check and call unless things get really scary? Also I would like to know if there's a substancial difference if hand is TPGK instead on the flop, say AQo on the example.

I think your play was fine. I would have also put the villian on AJ.

It's not that debatable, I wouldn't worry about it. There are times when I don't cap from EP- but it's rare. Some people never do, some always do *shrugs*.

If the flop gets capped- It really depends on the villain. Against an unknown I'll just call down (for sanity sake mostly), which may be a bit weak(?). I'll occasionally take a different line if I have a good read on the player, which usually includes throwing in a bet or a raise on the turn.
