How about using the call down line until he checks and take over from there? Opponent was tighter than standard party player preflop.

UTG folds, UTG+1 raises, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Hero 3-bets, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

River: (6.75 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero... can't see many hands he beats here

i'm stumped.
i raise the flop and see what happens.
maybe fold the turn unimproved if he leads again.

I maybe don't know what I'm talking about, but -- does anyone else raise the flop & fold if bet into unimproved on the turn?

The river does look like a pretty easy fold.

i was about to hit the raise button on the turn but decided to call down. Fold safe to a trun 3-bet I guess?

your hand is a bit vulnerable if he has AK. if he doesn't, you are way behind. i wouldn't want this to go to the river.

i think i'd just raise the flop and fold to a 3-bet.. not sure about this. a flop call, turn raise may tell you too late that you are beat. mixing it up between the two is probably best..

I love this line if I'm capped preflop, though. And folding the river. Agree?

EDIT: But again no. if capped preflop i can arise the turn and fold safe to a 3-bet.

Yeah. Villian's play in this hand doesn't add up. He will probably have a hand that you beat enough IMO. TT, 99 come to mind.
