Another A Q-hand.
NL $1BB full ring online. No reads.
I am UTG w/ A Qo. Villian is button w/ about $110. I cover him. I raise to $5, button and BB calls, 3 to the flop. Flop ($15:50): Qh Jd 7c BB checks, I bet $11, villian re-raises to $22, I call. Turn ($59:50): 4h I bet $20, he raises to $40, I muck. How was that? |

Re: Another A Q-hand.
I'm on the fence either way with this one, but either call the flop reraise and push on the turn or fold it right then.

Re: Another A Q-hand.
I hate raising AQo in early position. It puts you into bad trouble because you have often have to play it cautiosly and make a lot of folds even when you have TPTK. Given that you raised though, why call the min-raise? This ussually spells trouble (e.g. set playing fast or top-two). I think you cost yourself money by playing such a marginal hand (given that your are in early position) for a large pot. I think you make more money over the long-run by traping weaker queens and playing for small pots with AQo in early position.
