Default Did anyone see Stu Unger on ESPN Classic?

Very impressive and very sad at the same time. He said after winning:

"Ain't no one that can beat me, I can only beat myself."

When asked whether his age would help him make "better choices" after winning the world series for the third time, he said "I sure hope so...I want to for my daughter" and then took out her picture. Within a year he was dead.

You could really see how bad his nose was on that broadcast, even with his glasses covering it up. In that interview after he won he really seemed like it was over for him, like he knew he was in deep trouble.
