Default Limit vs. No-limit

It seems like most posts over here are concerning no-limit. Since I'm coming over from ring games I'm mostly sticking to limit 1-tables for now.

Is that the normal progression? Ring -> limit SnG -> no-limit?

When I was playing no-limits when I first started, before I was even barely formally educated in poker ways I did pretty good in the $2 no limits on Pacific. Then I started reading and went to ring games, since my SnG record was abysmal from that point on.

How many people play limit SnG's? Or is no-limit better/easier or just more common? I notice it is harder to find fixed limit tournaments around.
