Default How do you determine what MTT you play?

For the most part I tend to play ring games, but I do enjoy entering into MTT as often as I can.

When I do, I try to find the ones that give me the best odds at winning the most amount of money for my buy-in. An example of this is if there is a a dollar guarenteed event, where the total amount of players buy-ins in the field would amount to less than the guarenteed amount offered.
Eg. $30,000 guarenteed with $50 buy-in and 400 player field.

I do this because with the smaller field I will be able to earn a larger dollar amount if I make the money rather than with a larger field the real money wouldn't come until close to the final table.

Does anyone else use some sort of method like this to determine what tournaments they play in? Is there another set of variables that you may use to determine what MTT you play in? I look forward to everyone's responses.
