Default Raymer making a big deal about the incident

is turning out to be -EV just like I said. The press is now inflating the amount of cash he had on him.

He stated it was about $1 thousand. The press is now saying $150k.

NOW, a bunch of blockheads who otherwise wouldn't think of going after famous gamblers just might.

Good going Greg...

Default Get a life

You are the same guy that said this:

"Stick to poker.

I was thinking how the fact that he won the tournament made his ridiculous glasses 'ok'. If he had lost he would have looked like the biggest dork with them.

He basically dorkified himself by making a -EV play when they told him they just wanted the money. And I'll say again, it wasn't that big of a deal. He is just trying to extend his 15 minutes of fame in to 17.

I'll say he's out of the main event next year sometime during the third round..."

Quit posting your garbage. If you are so superior to Greg, I'm sure he would accomodate you in a heads up match. The only person who's trying to get in the spotlight here is you, probably trying to get responses from Greg so you can go home telling your friends the World Champ responded to your crap. Get a life.

If you think it's Greg's fault the media inflated some of the details, then you are probably the most naive person alive. It is the liberal media's problem, since they love to get more attention. I on most other people's hand, agree with what Raymer did, and I guarantee you wouldn't have the balls to do something as brave as that, too.

Yes, I said he's better at poker than embellishing stories.

"If you are so superior to Greg, I'm sure he would accomodate you in a heads up match."

While I probably don't have high enough stakes to interest him, I'd play if someone backed me. I'd give the backer 75%.

lol, what does the "liberal" media have to do with coverage of a poker player being assalted.

You shoulda read the first post. The media loves to get more people interested...so naturally, they lie about stuff like this. As most people know, the media is dominated by liberals, which is why I hate the media.

You're misusing the term "liberal" media. It has no bearing here. Even if the media is liberal (Washington Post and Fox News make that idea a little difficult to swallow), it still makes no difference in this instance. Stop throwing around buzz words that have no relevance to the issue at hand.

Don Vito had 150,000 when he went to play but lost 140,000 playing so he had 1000 left after getting his ass handed to him
