The word on the street is that the name will be "the Horseshoe", dropping the Binion.

no you got it reversed. Harrah's owns the 'Horseshoe' trademark, so when management reverts back to the property owners MTR Gaming in 2005, they will not be able to use that word in the name.

if anything, I've read that it will be called just "Binion's".
