Default Slansky Discusses NL on Comcast OnDemand

Comcast is the the cable provider in my area, and they have some of these Texas Hold'em Lessons available OnDemand (like always available Pay per View).

Has anyone else seen these? Think they're any good? I only watched the first one which was on position if I remember correctly. The advice was sound.

Also commenting in the lessons where Mike Matusow and Todd Brunson.

I just posted about this - are you sure it's not limit?

I only saw one episode at my Mom's place. If I remember correctly, they had a table of 6-8 amatuers playing a SnG. I thought it was no limit.

I have terrible "mid-term" memory.

I'll be at my Mom's this weekend. So I'll try to check out some more then.

It was neither a SnG nor NL in the episodes I have. It's 6-handed limit.

they were OK at best. the ones that i saw had matusow, burnson and sklansky watching a no-limit SnG. they are poorly edited in that some of the same discussions come up in multiple episodes.... and not just something similar... i mean *exactly* the same footage. also, matusow and brunson are not always paying the best attention to the action. i vaguely remember a hand where someone has a nut-flush draw and a gut shot maybe and they are like "how he is calling on just a gut-shot?!?". entertaining but not the most informative unless you are a beginner.

weird. maybe they added some more stuff....i will have to check it this weekend. the pieces that i saw were part of a 7-episode series of them analyzing a NL SnG.

eastbay has said "Lifestyle->Gambling->Poker".

And, eastbay, sorry I hijacked your great idea for a post. (We both made posts about this at the same time. You can see his at the bottom of the WPT Forum

Just to be clear, there are two separate series, one for Limit, the other for No Limit, with about seven episodes each. The episodes typically run from four to nine minutes.
