Default Would botting vs casino be unethical?

I was wondering what you guys thought about botting against casinos to clear bonuses on the BJ tables or something like that.

1) You're up against the casino where there is a HA. Long term online BJ is -EV without bonuses.

2) It's basically like the autoplay on the old Microgaming BJ tables.

3) It's to simplify the frustarating grind. I spent 5 hours of grinding the BJ tables at 1/60 bets and eventually tilted.

If it is against the T&C of the site, then yes.

If not, no.

I'm almost certain that, ethical or not, most places will consider bots "cheating devices" and will attempt to hammer you for using them. I mean, counting cards at BJ is not cheating but good luck making a career of it...

Like Nekura said, it's not really unethical IMHO, but if a casino catches you, most likely they confiscate all of your funds.

If they say none are allowed then no. If they allow like Microgaming does then yes.

did you ever hear the story of "pirate" and an RTG casino? guy won 1.3mil and they claimed he had fashioned a bot and refused to pay.

he had not used a bot. it was the casino operator grasping at straws to get out of the debt. point is that they are pretty serious about no bots when they have it in their terms.

I agree with granny that the casino operators were really grasping at straws re: the pirate.

I mean if a casino owed you 1.3Mil wouldn't you say whatever they wanted to hear to get your check? And even if he used a bot it in no way could affect the HA of the games unless he cracked the RNG. However looking at his play logs that clearly wasn't the case.

This story was a very interesting read - it's on casinomeister, winneronline, etc..

Default Ethics? WTF?

Technically, it is unethical to be playing at an online casino merely for the purposes of clearing and collecting bonuses.

The bonuses are something the casinos do to reward good customers and try to attract new customers who are serious about playing further rather than merely to collect the bonus. Hence the term "bonus whore" and the casino's practice of having "blacklists" of people who "abuse" the bonus programs.

Now what is your question about Ethics?

PUH-LEEEZE

if you have heard the tape, you know enough about the situation to know that there was no bot.

you were just being a nit, right? you know he was not using a bot, right?
