Default KK out of position- Go to war on the flop?

CO seems straight-forward, slightly loose PF, Neutral/average post-flop.

What's Hero's maximum EV line here? Smooth call, check/raise the turn? 3-bet and lead/raise the turn? What if CO caps? Lead a non-heart turn?

I can't think that check/call, check/call, bet is the best line here, as the flop is drawy we can't give free cards.

When I have KK, I usually slow down if I get raised on the turn. I'd put the last bet in on the flop as you have backdoor draws as well. If he raises the turn, I'd call down. If he has aces, good for him, but he could easily have QQ.

What if he caps the flop?
Leading the turn is mandatory, right?
