River: (10.33 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks I left out the rest of the river action because I think it would only prejudice the discussion. If he checked, that was the end of it; if he bet, I called. Comments on my play? |

Re: Blind Defense hand
It is hard to say without a played descripion, but i dont like the three bet on the turn unless he is a maniac. He either has before you learn that he just calls your three bet you are faced with teh possible hands of AK/AA, which has you in bad shape, or KK/1010, which has you dead. I think he calls because he has AK/AA and fears your possible set/two pair.
Really the only hand he can have that you beat is KJ/QQ or a bluff. |

Re: Blind Defense hand
Checking the river is bad without opponent specific information (e.g. he's prone to calling a turn 3-bet with nothing and will fire a hopeless bluff into the pot if checked to on the river ).
